Missions and values

Fierté Magog, a partnership between Fierté Sherbrooke, the Centre l’Élan, drag queen La Pitre, and several community members, has the mission of creating annual activities to bring together the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and its allies. The organization aims to raise awareness about resources available to sexual and gender diversity individuals in the region. It also seeks to educate people about 2SLGBTQIA+ realities through a festive event.

The core values of Fierté Magog are diversity, collaboration, inclusion, integrity, and community.

Centre l'Élan

The Centre l’Élan is a non-profit organization in Magog that has been working toward the psychological well-being of its users for over 40 years. Having participated in organizing the three editions of the “17 mai Memphré” event, the team continues to pitch in for this new concept. The organization is greatly involved in promoting inclusion within the Estrie population through art therapy.
